On behalf of Trudi...

If anyone who didn't volunteer for a role in the planning and executing of the exhibition would like to have a role, please talk to Trudi

A suggestion was made that perhaps elections could take place for candidates for each role, whereby people can suggest fellow classmates who would be suitable. It may seem like a rather drastic action for something so simple, but there may be some people who would like these roles but didn't get the chance to speak up or weren't confident enough to do so. Also it is our exhibition and it will show in the execution of it!

The roles up for election are....
Website Design
Money
PR
Gallery
Insurance/Risk Assessment
Graphics/Invite/Banner posters
Fundraising
Overall chair people

This would ideally happen at our next meeting on the 20th October

Location works

its mainly a site to find shooting locations, but they have exhibition spaces on such as....

http://www.locationworks.com/library.php?reference=8862 which is in central london but have to ring up to enquire so ill give them a tinkle 2moro.

they also have derelict buildings and ruins which could be kool if they had some nice places cheaply but ill enquire more 2moro.

what are we looking for more like proper gallerys that cater for exhibtions or somewhere we can make our own like last years?... thoughts ppl?

Looks pretty sweet but blogger isn't letting me upload photos so take a look at the link.

The Rag Factory/Apricot Studio

http://www.ragfactory.org.uk/what_s_here/apricot_gallery/

Pretty good info and looks pretty swish...
They've catered to students before, big plus in my eyes
If the gallery isn't big enough there's also studios we could look into, but it sounds massive to me

The Brick Lane Gallery
